Introducing a new fuzzy family member to your home is always an exciting event. Whether it’s just the two of you, or as a new addition to an already lively family, there is little in life that compares to the joy of a puppy or kitten.

It is important to schedule a wellness check for your new puppy or kitten as soon as possible. During this time, you can review with your veterinarian any vaccinations your pet received prior to coming to live with you (if known) and set a schedule for upcoming vaccinations, depending on your pet’s age. You can also discuss any other questions or concerns you may have and develop a schedule for proper routine care.
